NEW METAL SURFACES.
The surfaces must be free of grease, rust and calamine.
Apply a coat of Antioxidant Primer DYNAPOK ZINC PHOSPHATE PRIMER 2K, (code 22722) and finish with two/three coats of POXEMYC, depending on the desired thickness.
OLD METAL SURFACES.
On old painted survaces remove the remains of poorly adhered paint and proceed as above.
ALUMINUM AND GALVANIZED.
Eliminate the rust typical of galvanizing by washing with detergents, fresh water and abrasive synthetic fibres. If necessary, sand to refine the surface.
If greater protection is needed, apply a coat of DYNAPOK 2K PRIMER (Code 22.722).
CONCRETE SURFACES
Wait until fully set (min 1 month). The surface must be completely dry. The humidity of the concrete must not exceed 4%, measured at a depth of 2 cm. The surface must be firm and free of dust, laitance or grease and poorly adhered parts. Minimum tensile strength 15 kg/cm².
Remove grease and rubber stains with thinners or detergents, then rinse off the detergent with water. Use shot blasting and milling if stains do not disappear.
Laitance and curing agents must be removed by shot blasting and milling, subsequently vacuuming the resulting dust, to obtain a rough surface free of foreign materials.
The surface to be painted must have sufficient roughness to ensure adherence. It is advisable to carry out a preliminary test patch on a representative area (1m²) to ensure compatibility and to verify desired result.
Apply on consistent, clean surfaces, free of efflorescence (saltpetre) and mould.
Stir component A in its container and once homogenized add component B slowly to it (in the indicated proportions) while mechanically stirring at low speed. Shake for 2 minutes until perfectly homogenized. If necessary, pour the mxture into a new container and stir again, to guarantee a homogeneous mix. Let the mixture rest for 15 min to let air out before using the paint. Do not use the product after its indicated potlife (4 hours)
