IRON AND STEEL.
The steel surfaces must be completely clean and free from traces of paint in poor condition, dust, grease, rust and mill scale.
To achieve good protection, abrasive blasting up to Sa 2 ½ grade according to ISO 8501-1 is recommended.
CONCRETE SURFACES.
Wait until fully set (min 1 month). The surface must be completely dry. The humidity of the concrete must not exceed 4%, measured at a depth of 2 cm. The surface must be firm and free of dust, laitance or grease and poorly adhered parts. Minimum tensile strength 15 kg/cm².
